You want to find more balance in your life and / or work
This retreat is your chance to explore how you can use a version of the traditional Medicine Wheel as a map to navigate life transitions. The medicine wheel is an ancient map used by indigenous cultures around the world to understand the cycles in life and map them to the cycles found in nature. The wheel maps the full cycle of life, ideas, and projects from conception to death.

During the retreat, we will focus on how this version of the Medicine Wheel can help you develop awareness of how you normally show up in life, and allow you to mindfully reflect on whether that will serve you in the next phase of your life. The four stages of the cycle of life from stillness, to curious creativity, to active doing, to celebrating and enjoying and back to stillness are represented within the cycle of the wheel. The wheel allows you to have a practical map to reflect on and plan how you approach life.

The wheel also gives us a powerful insight into our own strengths and challenges at play in our life. It helps us recognise where we are self-sabotaging our success and wellbeing through our shadow qualities, and what we can do about it.

The central tenet of the wheel is mindfulness. Whatever place we are on the wheel we can connect with mindfulness and with something bigger than ourself. This allows us to take stock and understand how to balance ourselves and prepare for the next step at any stage or moment in our life.

The retreat will bring together a mix of theory, self-reflection, group discussion, gentle Qi Gong and other experiential practices.
Retreat - Yoga, Qigong, Soundbaths and Nature
March 10th to 12th 2023 - Finished
Near Chamonix, France
With my colleague Melissa Desvignes (Padme Yoga) we will be hosting a retreat in Haute Savoie from the 10th to the 12th of March this year. The focus will be on rebalancing, connecting and having fun. We will be staying in an idyllic and quiet area, in a lovely chalet surrounded by beautiful mountains. We will practice Yoga and Qi Gong each day, have healing Sound Baths with Meditation. There will also be the opportunity for massages. At other times there will be the option for us to go on guided hikes in the surrounding area. Alternatively you can simply relax, enjoy the space and get to know each other.
